VIOLET TOWNSHIP BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Notice of Public Hearing
The Violet Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the Violet Township Administrative Offices located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington to consider the following:
Case VAR-24-29: an application for variance filed by Stephen Hess, DHL Supply Chain, 360 Westar Blvd., Westerville for property located at 8695 Basil Western Road, Canal Winchester, owned by RES Canal Winchester I LLC, 360 Westar Blvd., Westerville. This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Sections 3T2-02 and 3T3-03 to allow storage, handling, and warehousing of materials and products and equipment outside of a building.
Case VAR-24-30: an application for variance filed by Aaron Walters, 6245 Lithopolis Road, Carroll for property located at 13773 Nantucket Avenue, Pickerington owned by Steven Zehender, 13773 Nantucket Avenue. This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3A2-09 and Section 3AA4-05(A)(5)(b) to allow the construction of a detached accessory building in the side yard adjacent to the side street and to allow an accessory building to be placed closer to the side street than permitted.
These applications are available for examination from Friday, January 3, 2025 through Thursday, January 16, 2025 inclusive, Mondays through Fridays, excluding legal holidays, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, 10190 Blacklick-Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147.
