VIOLET TOWNSHIP BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Notice of Public Hearing
The Violet Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the Violet Township Administrative Offices located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington to consider the following:
Case VAR-24-15: an application for Variance filed by Kokosing Solar, 762 W Union street, Athens, OH for property located and 7176 Basil Western Road owned by Quinn and Michelle Fischer. This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3F1-02(C)(1)(a) to allow the installation of a rooftop solar energy system on the front roof of the home.
Case VAR-24-16: an application for variance filed by Ervis Bahari for property located t 9195 Indian Mound Court, Pickerington, Ohio. This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3AA4-05(A)(5)(b) to allow an accessory building to remain where constructed, closer to the side property line than permitted.
Case VAR-24-17: an application for variance filed by Ace Fence & Deck LLC c/o Rob Bruno, 400 S Broad Street, Lancaster for property located at 8114 Jefferson Drive, Canal Winchester, owned by Tiffany and James Culver. This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3B2-05 to allow the construction of a deck that is to be placed closer to the side property line than permitted.
Case VAR-24-18: an application for variance filed by E.C. Babbert Inc, 7415 Diley Road, Canal Winchester, for property located at 7415 Diley Road, Canal Winchester, owned by Babbert Real Estate Investment Co. Ltd. This application requests variances from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3U2-01 and 3U2-06 to allow a concrete batch plant to be placed closer than permitted in the M-3, Unlimited Manufacturing District.
These applications are available for examination from Friday, August 2, 2024 through Thursday, August 15, 2024 inclusive, Mondays through Fridays, excluding legal holidays, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, 10190 Blacklick-Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147.
