The Violet Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the Violet Township Administrative Offices located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington to consider the following:

Case Number 01-VA-2023: an application for variance filed by Matthew and Olivia Scheaffer for property located at 10070 Winchester Road, Canal Winchester, Ohio.  This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3AA4-05(A)(5)(b) to allow the construction of a detached accessory building that is to be placed in front of the existing home.

Case Number 02-VA-2023: an application for variance filed by Donna Pridemore for property located at 9985 Winchester Road, Canal Winchester, Ohio owned by Donna and David Pridemore.  This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3AA4-05(A)(5)(b) to allow a detached accessory building to remain where placed, at the side of the home and closer to the side property line than permitted.

Case Number 03-VA-2023: an application for variance filed by Jonathan Bickel for property located at 12332 Thoroughbred Drive, Pickerington.  Pursuant to Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3V3-01(E)(1),EV3-02(E) and 3V2-01(A) this application requests a variance to allow the construction of a deck that is to be placed closer to the rear property line than permitted in the Bentwood Farms Planned District.

These applications are available for examination Friday, February 3, 2023 through Thursday, February 16, 2023, inclusive, Mondays through Fridays, excluding legal holidays, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, 10190 Blacklick-Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147.
