The Violet Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the Violet Township Administrative Offices located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington to consider the following:

The continuation of Case Number 01-AP-2022: an appeal filed by Krisztina and Craig Breidenbach for property located at 13268 Durham Circle, Pickerington.  Appellants are appealing the notice of zoning violation issued by the Zoning Inspector on March 3, 2022 regarding their property.

The continuation of Case Number 06-VA-2022: an application filed by Bobby Johnson for property located at 6696 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington owned by Bobby G. and Gail L. Johnson, Trustees.  This application requests a variance from Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3B2-02 to allow the split of a lot which contains less than the required frontage for a lot containing two or more acres in area.

Case Number 08-VA-2022: an application for variance filed by Joseph Gemperline for property located at 9277 Pimlico Place, Pickerington, owned by Joseph and Debra Gemperline. Pursuant to Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3V3-01(D)(1), this application requests a variance from the provisions of Section 3V3-01(B) to allow the construction of a deck that is to be placed closer to the rear property line than permitted in the Bentwood Farms Planned District.

Case Number 09-VA-2022: an application for variance filed by Tollgate Road Ltd., c/o Richard T. Ricketts, 50 Hill Road South, Pickerington, for property located at 11520 Pickerington
Road, owned by Tollgate Road Ltd. & Cheryl Ricketts. This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3B1-01 to allow the existing home on the property to be used for professional offices.

Case Number 10-VA-2022: an application for variance filed by Joseph Forshey for property located at 10027 Northridge Street, Pickerington owned by Joseph and Hali Forshey.  This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3B2-06 to allow the construction of a deck closer to the rear property line than permitted.

These applications are available for examination Friday, May 6, 2022 through Thursday, May 19, 2022, inclusive, Mondays through Fridays, excluding legal holidays, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, 10190 Blacklick-Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147.
