VIOLET TOWNSHIP ZONING COMMISSION

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING

 The Violet Township Zoning Commission will hold a special meeting for the purposes of continuing the public hearing for Case Number 01-ZC-2021 on Tuesday, June 22, at 7:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Road, Pickerington as well as via teleconference/video conference to consider a Resolution adopted by the Violet Township Board of Trustees which is proposed as an amendment to the Violet Township Zoning Resolution.  This proposed amendment is designated as Violet Township Zoning Amendment Case Number 01-ZC-2021 and would, if adopted as proposed, amend Articles 3Q and 3AA2 to make certain auto-related establishments conditionally permitted uses in the C-2, Limited Commercial zoning district, such as vehicle dealerships operated by state-licensed dealers, automotive repair shops performing customary routine service, and car washes.  Such amendment would also create regulations and requirements regarding the establishment and operation of those auto-related uses.

The Resolution and text of this proposed amendment is available for examination Mondays through Fridays, excluding legal holidays, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, 10190 Blacklick-Eastern Road, Pickerington, Ohio 43147.  The person responsible for giving notice of this public hearing by publication is Kelly Sarko, Violet Township Zoning Inspector.
