The Board of Trustees for Violet Township, of Fairfield County, Ohio (hereinafter “Board”), hereby request bids for unlimited residential solid waste and optional recyclable materials collection and delivery for processing or disposal for the unincorporated areas of Violet Township, Fairfield County, Ohio (hereinafter "Township”).

Sealed bids will be received by the Board in care of Vince Utterback, Violet Township Administrator, at the Violet Township Administrative Office located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Rd, Pickerington, OH 43147 during standard business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday) beginning September 2, 2022 until 11:00 a.m. local time on October 14, 2022 at which time Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after this date and time shall not be considered and will be returned unopened. Bidders are responsible to make sure the Bids are delivered to the Board by said time.

A complete RFB containing the terms and conditions of this contract, together with detailed technical Specifications and bid documents, can be obtained during standard business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning September 2, 2022, at the Violet Township Administrative Office located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Rd, Pickerington, OH 43147.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will take place at the Violet Township Office, Violet

Township Administrative Office located at 10190 Blacklick Eastern Rd, Pickerington, OH 43147 at 10:00 a.m. on September 9, 2022.

The Board reserves the right to select the bidder deemed to have submitted the lowest and best bid, as determined solely by the Board and/or their representative(s); to reject any and/or all bids, or any portion of any and/or all bids; to waive informalities or irregularities that do not affect the substance of the Specifications and contents of the RFB; and to award a contract in the manner deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.

In accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 307.87, this notice shall be advertised in its entirety once a week for not less than two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation and posted on the Board 'Internet website (www.violet.oh.us).

This notice is also posted in its entirety in a public place in the Board respective offices. Such notice is so posted for at least two (2) weeks preceding the day of the opening of the bids.
