NUISANCE NOTICE
Pursuant to Section 505.87(C) of the Ohio Revised Code and Violet Township Resolution No. 2018-0418-11, the Violet Township Board of Trustees has given notice to the property owner(s) and lienholder(s) of record regarding the following property, that the Board of Trustees has declared this property to be a nuisance due to the maintenance of vegetation, garbage, refuse and/or debris on/at the property. The Board of Trustees hereby orders the nuisance be abated (removed) from the property within four (4) days or Violet Township is authorized by statute to abate the nuisance, and all expenses incurred in the removal will be entered upon the tax duplicate for the property. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Violet Township Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices located at 12970 Rustic Drive, Pickerington, Ohio 43147 to consider the following:
Case Number 01-ZC-2017: an application for rezoning filed by James Reed 11700 Winter Road, Amanda, Ohio. This application proposes to amend the Violet Township Zoning Resolution by amending the Violet Township Zoning Map to rezone 2.43 acres located at 6875 Pickerington Road, Carroll, Ohio from the R-2, Single Family Residential District to the M-2, Limited Manufacturing District in order to accommodate warehousing of service and installation materials and machinery.
This application is available for examination from Wednesday, May 2, 2018 through Tuesday, May 15. 2018, inclusive, Mondays through Fridays, excluding legal holidays, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, 12970 Rustic Drive, Pickerington, Ohio 43147. The person responsible for giving notice of this public hearing by publication is Kelly Sarko, Violet Township Zoning Inspector.
After the conclusion of the public hearing, the matter will be submitted to the Violet Township Board of Trustees for its action.

The Violet Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Violet Township Administrative Offices, located at 12970 Rustic Drive, Pickerington to consider the following:
Case Number 02-VA-2018: an application for variance filed by Phil Phelps, 7490 Columbus-Lancaster Road, Carroll, Ohio. This application requests a variance from Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3A2-02 to allow a lot in the R-1, Single Family Residential District, which contains two acres or more in area to have less than the required frontage and no frontage on a public road or street.
Case Number 03-VA-2018: an application for variance filed by Molly Johnson, 12910 Stonecreek Drive, Pickerington for property located at 12910 Stonecreek Drive, owned by the Devore Group. This application requests a variance from the provisions of Violet Township Zoning Resolution Section 3AA4-05(A)(5)(b) to allow a detached accessory building to be placed at the side of the main building.
